HOAKS Cup: Road to the Finish

The 2026 HOAKS Cup is heading into the stretch run, and September 30 is the finish line.

Before we get there, four combined-play events could have a major impact on the standings:

August 24 • September 4 • September 21 • September 23

Our normal field averages about 23 players. Combined events can reach 36–40 players, which means more HOAKS points are available and a better opportunity to replace one of your current Best 12 scores.

SEPTEMBER 23 - THE REVEAL

The standings you see today don't tell the whole story.

All season long, I've also been tracking bonus points:

1st = 3 points • 2nd = 2 points • 3rd = 1 point

After play on September 23, those accumulated bonus points will be revealed and added to the HOAKS Cup standings for the first time.

Some players may move up. Some gaps may get a lot smaller.

After the reveal, only four rounds remain:

September 25 • 26 • 28 • 30

SEPTEMBER 30 - FINAL ROUND

Play when you can. Take advantage of the big fields. Finish high.

And don't get too comfortable with the standings you see today.
